Lambert
Bridge Sauvignon Blanc-
This is a new wine to Apizza Mia- added to our wine collection after Tamra & Tony’s trip to California and their stay at Lambert Bridge Winery. Bevill Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc is bright, brisk and bursting with flavor. Aromas of lime, tropical fruit and orange zest are followed by fresh flavors of ripe melon and citrus. The flavors finish with mouthwatering acidity. The wide variety of flavors and aromatics was enhanced by removing the leaves from only the morning-sun side of the vines. This work in the vineyard allowed some of the fruit to be fully exposed to the temperate morning sun and successfully encouraged the development of an incredibly wide variety of the aromatics we look for in Sauvignon Blanc.     This wine is delicious with our seafood pastas and our

New Minitizer- The Shrimp Amia- pizza appetizer.               $42.00.

These same grape varietals are used to produce the more expensive Amarones. Only 5 communes have the right to the “classico” designation that lies in the heart of this historic growing area. The additional “Superiore” on the label means the wine has been aged at least one year and that its alcohol content is not less than 12 percent.  $24.00 (750ml ) bottle.

Castello Monaci Negro Amaro- In Puglia, Italy the men live longer than anywhere else in the world.  Experts have attributed on the reasons for their longevity to drinking Negro Amaro wine.  This wine is the darkest of the reds, hence the name "Negro"- black in Italian.
